Scarpa Center for Entrepreneurship and Law. Groverman is also co-CEO of Product Search Live, executive director of BFY Media, owner of Stretch Gallery and founder of the R.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation.

During his semester-long residency, Groverman will hold regular office hours to mentor Villanova Law students and other students across campus, advise and coach for student competitions and offer guest lectures in courses aligned with his expertise.

鈥淲e are thrilled to welcome Peter back to Villanova Law as our spring Entrepreneur in Residence,鈥 said MarySheila McDonald, Center director and John F. Scarpa Professor of Entrepreneurship. 鈥淎s the founder of multiple businesses, Peter brings an incredible amount of knowledge, experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the role and he also knows firsthand the rigors of being a Villanova Law student. 聽He epitomizes our emphasis on the intersection of law and business and as our first alumni EIR, he will be able to uniquely connect with students and inspire them to use their law degrees in innovative ways.鈥

Headquartered in Philadelphia, Grovara is the first B2B marketplace for natural and organic brands. Its technology platform connects U.S. healthy consumer brands with international retailers, helping companies streamline the entire process and preparing them for the global marketplace in just 60 days. Groverman鈥檚 other current businesses include Product Search Live, an innovative shopping experience launching this year; BFY Media, a media network focusing on global wellness health and food; Stretch Gallery, a virtual and physical art gallery in Miami; and the R.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation, a nonprofit helping those affected by natural disasters.

鈥淚 love taking an idea and turning it into a business, and I鈥檓 going to show students how to do that,鈥 said Groverman. 鈥淲orking with the students is a creative landscape that is ripe for innovation. It鈥檚 an adventure and I鈥檓 incredibly optimistic about the ROI for everyone involved.鈥

Groverman credits his law degree and Villanova Law faculty for allowing him to pursue and jumpstart his entrepreneurial passion while still a student.

鈥淭he law degree opens every door, not just more doors, but every door,鈥 said Groverman 鈥淓very avenue is a green light for opportunity because of my law degree. When I was a student, Villanova Law faculty enabled me to take time away from my traditional studies to start the R.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation and help earthquake victims in Haiti. Because they afforded me that time, it started my career. Now I鈥檓 back on campus as an EIR. It鈥檚 really come full circle and I鈥檓 happy to help current students realize their own entrepreneurial potential. There鈥檚 no shortage of opportunity.鈥

The EIR position is key to the Scarpa Center鈥檚 vision and mission to focus on the intersection of business and law through cross-disciplinary programming, groundbreaking coursework and real-world learning opportunities. The Center plans to have an EIR in residence each semester during the academic year.

Peter Groverman will be on campus throughout the spring semester. His office is located in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Law in John F. Scarpa Hall.聽
