The Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation

 

The CSE Institute presents cross-disciplinary workshops and discussions aimed at engaging the survivor community to end gender-based violence. Workshops will be led by survivors to encourage participants to engage in problem-solving scenarios on a variety of relevant topics and current issues in legislation, law enforcement and education.

This event will take place on Thursday, April 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, April 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Inn at Villanova (610 County Line Road, Radnor, PA 19087). It is open to the Villanova community and the public and is approved by Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 9 sustainable credits, approved by MPOETC for 12 CLEE credits and NASW-PA Chapter is a co-sponsor of this workshop. Nine CEs will be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.

A networking reception and awards ceremony, hosted by , Victim Advocate for the Commonwealth, will immediately follow the event on Thursday, April 11 at the Inn at Villanova featuring remarks from Anne Ream, founder of the Voices & Faces Project. We are honored to announce that retired State Senator Stewart Greenleaf is the recipient of the 2019 Justice Done Award.
